The Vivid Roots Global Leadership Program is a premier 10-week student-led program with leadership training, fundraising opportunities, and a 10-day international trip.
An Impact Adventure ignites inspiration, shifts perspective, and equips high school students with the tools to become a true force for good in the world. Most importantly, students can demonstrate their leadership in effecting tangible change by helping underserved communities gain proper access to clean water, education, and health services.

Our mission is simple. Inspire people to live life to the fullest and help those in need along the way. So, “impact” is truly the heart of Vivid Roots. We focus on increasing access to clean water, education and health services in underserved communities.
We believe by focusing on these fundamental pillars, we can empower communities to raise themselves out of their situation. We work closely with local governments, community leaders and other non-profits to ensure the success of every project.
When you join an impact adventure you will be helping to fund a project. Your dollars will help purchase materials, then you will be working alongside the community and the rest of your group to implement the project during the impact portion of your trip!

As a result, 16,000 people die each week from water-related illness and disease… that’s more people than all forms of violence combined, including war! 43% are children under the age 5.

Education is the most powerful tool we can use to change the world. Education reduces poverty, empowers women and helps prevent disease and increases economic stability for families.
We work closely with teachers, school directors, and the local community leaders to ensure projects are giving kids the best possible opportunity at a better education.
The reality for millions of people around the world is that even the most basic public health services remain unreliable. In 2018, 6.2 million children and young adolescents died, mostly from preventable causes related to lack of access to proper health care.
Despite the scale of the challenge, solutions are in sight. Achieving sustainable development goals requires a global shift from treating diseases to strengthening health systems so that all children, adolescents, and women of reproductive age have access to affordable, quality health care.
